New Share This Toolbar With Built In Adsense

I am a huge fan of the Share This bookmarking widget. In my opinion they are top of the line when it comes to adding a way for your blog readers to share your blog or blog contents with the rest of the internet. Now with there new toolbar with built in adsense, that you no doubt noticed when you first came to this site, I am even more impressed.
To get your own Share This toolbar like on this blog with or without the adsense just follow the steps below.

  1. 1) Go to the Share This toolbar site and sign in with your Twitter, Facebook or by creating an account

  2. 2) If you are going to enable the adsense  section you will                                       need to go to your AdSense account and in the top right of the page you will see your publisher ID. Exaple: "pub-123456789" This will need to be added where it ask for it in the adsense section of the Share This page. Now for the Adsense slot ID you will have to create a new ad in your Adsense account. Make sure to set the ad size for 350x250 and then generate the code. Look at the code and you will see where it says ad slot number. You don't need the entire code just the number. Take it and place it into ad slot id where it ask for it on the Share This Site.

  3. 3) Fill in the rest of the info that it ask for like your twitter and facebook info, choose what you want on the toolbar and what color you want it, then hit the get code button.

  4. 4) You will actually notice that there are two different codes, which both will need to be added to your template html.

  5. 5) In your blogs dashboard click design > Edit Html.

  6. 6) Find </head> in your template, try pressing Ctrl and F for a search bar to help find the code. Now  paste the first code you recieved from generating the Share This Toolbar directly above the </head> "You can press enter and space </head> as far down as you like so you will have room to input code.

  7. 7)Now find </body> in your template by using the Ctrl+F method and place the second code directly above </body>
Remember to save your template and you are all done. View your blog to make sure your Toolbar is added. Do not worry if ad is blank at first. Sometimes it will take up to 15 minutes for ad to become active for the first time.
Enjoy and hopefully this will help you gain more views and create a lil more revenue for you! =D
